Bengal Beat: Fall Conference Awards

Varsity Cross Country concluded their season and Varsity Soccer and Volleyball earned thirteen Potomac Valley Athletic Conference (PVAC) honors.
Cross Country (HS)
The final Bengals to wrap up their season, cross country brought more than 20 runners to the PVAC Upper School Championships at St. Anselm's Abbey on Thursday, October 26. In a close battle for the 3rd podium spot in the Men's team race, Washington International School just edged out Burke (5th) and Field (4th) – all three teams were within 10 points.

Individually, Burke boasted four runners in the top 30, led by Charles L. '25 in 16th, Jack J. '26 in 25th, Owen F. '24 in 27th, and Isaac W. '27 in 30th, with Lucas M. '27 and Frederick B. '25 following closely. In the Women's race, Elsa H. '27 ran 24:10 for 5K and finished in 15th, with Eliza G. '25 securing 21st and Sara C. '27 in 37th.
