The day began with keynote speaker Liz Lizama (aunt of Macayle C. '23), Head of the Communications Unit at IOM - UN Migration, "the leading intergovernmental organization in the field of migration" (Who We Are). Next, twelve inter-grade teams, drawing inspiration from the World Cup and from different global cities, competed in a door decor contest, a dance and lip sync battle in the Atrium, and a competitively absurd relay race on Howard Field – followed by tacos for lunch.

 

In the end, Paris and Tokyo were in a closely-fought contest, but Team Tokyo ultimately emerged with the victory. (Thanks in no small part to the peerless dance moves of Sam.)
