A Grand Day at Burke
Monday, November 11, marked one of our favorite traditions: Grandparents & Grandfriends Day, when we welcomed 150 guests to campus, supported by a fabulous cadre of parent volunteers.
Following breakfast in the Commons, guests enjoyed a welcome program in the theatre, including excerpts from Abigail / 1702, "L-O-V-E" performed by the High School Chorus, and a pun-plentiful curriculum presentation from the middle school. Grandparents then attended 2nd period classes alongside their grandchildren, before heading to a high-energy assembly in the Gym (everyone fit with room for dancing!), capped off by a performance from Advanced Band.
