The Sun Comes Out On Stage

On May 16-18, the Middle School performed an uplifting, sold-out run of Annie Jr., the Broadway staple about a resourceful young orphan (Leona K. '28) and a guarded, but benevolent billionaire (Jessica B. '29) amid the Great Depression in New York City.
With 37 cast and crew, Annie was truly a collaborative effort among the 6th-8th grades. Concluding their middle school theater careers were Leona K. '28 (Annie), Claire J. '28 (Pepper), Sylvie M. '28 (Tessie), Izzy M. '28 (Miss Hannigan), Robert D. '28 (Rooster), Natalie W. '28 (Lily St. Regis), Jayla Z. '28 (Grace Farrell), Henry B.'28 (Drake), Soren F.'28 (Bundles), Liam B. '28 (Sandy), and Grace G. '28 and Yanet G. '28 (run crew). Catch them onstage and backstage as high schoolers next winter!
