Affinity at Assembly
On September 20, student leaders and advisors talked about the mission and goals for each affinity group in the year to come. Groups start meeting in early October on two different schedules, and students are welcome to join more than one.
Following the presentations, Latine / Hispanic Student Union leaders Maite B. G. '24 and Beatriz C. '24 highlighted National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15) and discussed the differences between Latine and Hispanic. Ekkoh K. '26 also spoke to the diverse foods, music, and dance styles from different Latin American countries.
