Earn a full year's academic credit in one summer! This course is designed for highly motivated high school students who wish to accelerate through the science curriculum in order to take on more advanced coursework. It emphasizes molecular topics such as biochemistry, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, genetics, protein synthesis, genetic engineering and gene regulation. We will also study diversity among the five kingdoms. Forty percent of class time will be spent in the laboratory performing experiments that complement lecture material.
