Continuing their study of DC history and annual Ward Project, the 6th grade enjoyed a two-part adventure in Ward 6 in January.
First, they headed to the National Postal Museum, where they focused on communication and transportation in the United States, through reading and using the interactive exhibits; next, they headed to Union Station (built in 1908). Sean reports, "they explored Neoclassical architecture, did some people watching, and wrote stories about the people and things that they saw." Grade bonding and some milkshakes were also involved.
