"Yet I'll Speak!"
The best way to wrap your mind around Shakespeare? Speak the words out loud. This May, 9th graders in Nathan's and Nate's Genres classes concluded their study of Othello (1603) by memorizing and staging scenes from the seminal tragedy, which they performed for peers and Burke adults in the theatre throughout this week.

Support & Send-Off with ASA
In mid-May, our Asian Students Association (ASA) hosted a bake sale to support the Asian / Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project, a DC-based nonprofit, founded to ensure that abuse survivors "reaching out for assistance would have access to culturally and linguistically appropriate services." Later that week, Yvette added, ASA also enjoyed a boba send-off for senior leader Chaeyoon M. '26.
