6th Grade on the Road

"How do we compare the seat of government to the seats of finance and culture?"
Each winter, the 6th grade spends three days in New York City, where they explore "the history behind the literature" that they will read during the spring trimester. Their itinerary included Ellis Island, the Tenement Museum, 9/11 Museum and Memorial, and walking tours of Harlem and Central Park, plus spirited fun and class bonding at the Color Factory.
