College Planning at Burke

One of Burke's greatest strengths is our ability to prepare students for a successful college experience. We work closely with each Burke student to create a college plan tailored to meet his or her needs and goals. We have a great track record of matching our students with terrific colleges!

The college counseling process officially begins in 11th grade, although we do hold information sessions for families of freshmen and sophomores. In junior year, we start with a college information session for parents and students, and then hold individual family conferences. In the spring we put on a College Night where students have the opportunity to meet with university officials to learn about their respective institutions. And, of course, throughout the year we help families with applications, scholarship searches and standardized tests.
