"I love Art Explorations because art has always been one of my strong suits. Deborah always encourages you to express yourself in any way possible."

What has been your favorite project this year?
"The Minecraft [world building] project because you can show your creativity. You also have complete freedom to make whatever you want."

What has been a memorable moment during Middle School?
"Going to the Homecoming games or the Blackout games because I got to hang out with my friends and support our school teams."

Is there a challenge that stands out?
"Getting used to the school, how the schedule works, and adjusting to doing homework and using SIS [Student Information System]."

How would you describe Burke to a new student?
"Burke is a place where you are encouraged to express yourself. The teachers and students there make you feel welcomed and safe. Burke is also a very supportive community, where you will feel respected."
