Winter Bengal Beat: Wrap Up
Basketball - Girls Varsity
Congratulations to Bailee C. '24 and to Miriam K. G. '25 (pictured), who were named 3rd Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention respectively for Girls' Basketball in the Potomac Valley Athletic Conference (PVAC). Overall, the team finished the season with a winning record and advanced to the quarter-finals of the Conference Championships.

At the DC State Athletic Association swimming and diving championships on February 16, Burke was represented by Alex P. '25, Asa D. '25, Ash H. '26, Campbell S. '25, Emma P. '25, Jack J. '26, Kavya T. '24, Lucy M. '24, Luc P. L. '24, Max F. C. '25, Miriam T. '26, Sophie M. '25, and Syd W. '25.
Swimmers persevered through a last-minute venue change and a long day of competition to have "a great meet and end to the season," according to Coach Emily Z. Congratulations to Lucy, Emma, Sophie, and Kavya who placed 6th in the girls 400 free relay and to Max, Jack, Asa, and Luc who took 8th in the boys 400 free relay!
