From November 30 to December 2, a delegation of four Burke students attended the Student Diversity Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX: Izzy M. '26, Rose D. '25, Sophia H. '25, and Chloe R. '23.
These students were selected to represent Burke based on their commitment to change in society and in their school community. Collectively, they are involved with the Asian Student Association, Black Girls Meet, Black Student Union, Jewish Affinity Group, Rainbow Umbrella, and Students Against Ableism, as well as the REACT Taskforce and the Student Government Association.
At the conference, students learned how to effect change and equity within their school and formed connections with 1,500 students from across the country.
