Soccer (Homecoming)

Yes, you heard right, Bengal fans: Girls and Boys Varsity Soccer swept the Homecoming games, 6-2 and 3-1 respectively over the McLean School of Maryland. Enjoy these game highlights here, thanks to Greg C. P'23.
 
The week of October 17, Girls Varsity recorded a 5-0 over German International School, including this great save by Laila O. '25 (pictured, lower left), while Boys Varsity notched a 5-3 win against Spencerville on October 11.
Cross Country

On Tuesday, October 18, HS & MS Cross Country had a great showing at the Saint Anselm's Weekday Challenge.
 
In the boys HS race, Field, St. Anselm's, and Burke finished within one point of one another, in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd as a team respectively. Charles L. '25 finished in 1st individually out of nearly 100 runners, running 19:52.80 for 5K! Jack J. '26, Ian S. '23, and Owen F. '24 showed strong teamwork, finishing in 18th-20th. In the girls' race Eliza G. '25 and Nora B. '26 both ran sub-25, crossing the line in 4th and 5th. Great work!
 
For the MS (1.9 miles), Neve J. '29 and Lucas M. '27 finished 11th in the girls and boys races respectively, with Jacob M. '28 and AJ A. '28 also finishing in the top 40. Cheers!
