Post-Season: Boys Soccer (Varsity)

After a strong season, including wins over Barrie, Lab, and longtime rival Field, the boys varsity soccer team earned a well-deserved playoff bid last month.
"As the #6 seed, Burke took on #3 seed Sandy Spring, who had beaten them 6-0 in the second game of the season. Nonetheless, after giving up an early goal, Burke's vastly improved team proceeded to outplay Sandy Spring for the next two-thirds of the game. With the majority of possession, we did everything but put the ball in the net; and unfortunately, Sandy Spring was able to score again in the final minutes of the game. The team remains very proud of their quality game and their immense growth this season." - Coach Sam R.
