Adv. Lab Techniques in Chemistry | June 21-25

This course is designed to teach advanced laboratory techniques to students who have already completed a full year of Chemistry in high standing. The skills developed will prepare students for Advanced Placement Chemistry as well as college-level chemistry courses. Laboratory work will include experiments in chemical synthesis, qualitative and quantitative analysis (including spectrophotometric, gravimetric, and titrimetric methods), stoichiometry, formula determination, thermochemistry, equilibrium, and chemical kinetics, as time permits.
