Why Give

Burke, like all independent schools, depends upon the generosity of its community of families, alumni, grandparents, friends and foundations to make voluntary contributions to support and advance the mission of the School. Tax-deductible giving plays a significant role in program enrichment and the long-term health of the school.

Burke’s development program has many facets. Please go to Ways to Give for more information on each aspect of the school's fund raising programs or to make a contribution.

Parents, grandparents and alumni who have the skills, contacts, or just plain interest - and truly appreciate the “fun” in fund raising - are strongly encouraged to volunteer. Volunteers can do as little or as much as their time and talent allow. They play a significant role in strengthening and supporting the long-term fiscal health and vitality of the school.
