Alabama Fair & Gallery

On Tuesday afternoon, the 8th grade presented creative takes on the civic engagement trip to Birmingham, Selma, and Montgomery, Alabama, this past spring and what they learned along the way.
The wide array included original poetry, illustrated journals, savory dishes, and presentations linking historical and present day civil rights movements. Fellow students, Burke adults, and parents were invited to browse the presentations, plus sample Southern food and drink.
