Renee Rattray

Joined the Board in 2025. Dr. Renée Rattray is a thought leader and education activist, renowned for her efforts in promoting inclusive and equitable learning environments. Her extensive experience across the Caribbean includes serving as a principal and policymaker, where she honed her skills in leadership and innovation in education. Renée has influenced significant educational reforms and guided educators globally, leveraging her deep expertise in change management, leadership development and teacher training. Currently, as lead consultant with the US-based, XQ Institute, she spearheads a pioneering project to build climate-resilient schools in Barbados. Her diverse expertise supports the advancement of educational practices and frameworks that benefit communities broadly, while fostering global connections and influence.
