The GOATS of Founders' Day
The weather wholly cooperated, the theme was on point, and your Leadership students led a fabulous Founders' Day on the final day of April.
Launched more than 25 years ago now to celebrate the signature spirit and camaraderie of Burke, Founders' Day features amusing relay races, inflatable obstacle courses, a lunchtime cookout, and a culminating lip sync / dance battle in the Gym, with teams composed of students (and adults) from every grade – enabling us to build new connections, while not taking ourselves too seriously.
This year's theme, GOATS, highlighted stand-outs from sports history, including Serena Williams, Usain Bolt, and Chloe Kim.
