Student & Alumni Spotlights

Student Spotlight

Congratulations to Niki P. '24, who led a DC-based fundraising team for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's 2023 Mid-Atlantic Student Visionaries of the Year campaign. With dynamic team members Alex B. '24, Mia D. '24, and Owen G. '24, she raised more than $80,000 and earned the Hero Award designation – which enables students to connect their names to an LLS research portfolio. In the Head of School's words, these team members "have been real leaders and advocates for this cause."
Alumni Spotlights

Isabel A. '19
(Williams '23) played a key role in opening the college's new Bouldering Barn this past spring. According to The Williams Record, "[Isabel] is a part of the [Williams Outdoor Club] board, the Williams Climbing Club (WCC), and the design team for the project [...] She thought the Bouldering Barn will improve the College's climbing community. It's a great space for people to start climbing and learn because there’s a very low entry barrier, she said." Congratulations and happy climbing!

At the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 5-7, Katherine H. '21 (Haverford '25) took 1st in the women's 10,000 by a 20-second margin and Jay S. '22 (Ursinus '26) took 3rd in the men's high jump, contributing to his team's 1st place finish and second consecutive title. Congratulations!
