Cooking & Conjugating

Mónica's Spanish 7/8 class marked the conclusion of a unit on foods and irregular verbs by making tamales!
The whole class collaborated, starting with Everett P. '27 and Kaleb R. '27, who made the dough. Everyone then formed an assembly line: putting the dough on the corn husks, adding the salsa or stuffing (chicken, beans, and/or cheese), and folding them. Sasha F. '27 and Amber P. '27 organized and placed the tamales in the steamer, and Mónica made surprise horchata (a milk, rice, and cinnamon drink).
