Congratulations to Lena S. '22, whose short film "Unprompted" was among the winners in the 2023 Japan International Film Festival (Student Film / United States)! Featuring Ellen C. '23, the film follows a high school student reflecting on her life as she struggles to write a college essay.
Lena is currently a first-year film student in the Dual BA program with Trinity College Dublin and Columbia University.

On Saturday, April 29, our friends at Van Ness Main Street will host a community celebration at the UDC Theater of the Arts from 7-11 PM.
Entertainment will include ... Edmund Burke School bands, along with UDC's Dr. Allyn Johnson Jazz Trio, Carly Harvey's Blues Quartet, and DC Crush Funk Brass Band.
Proceeds from this event will support Van Ness's main street program and businesses.
