Class & Club Spotlight - Middle School - Part 4

From the IKEA Aisles

In 7th grade, Tiny House Projects have commenced. For this interdisciplinary project in math and science, students build an actual tiny house to scale. They research tiny home design, incorporate eco-friendly and sustainable features, and track their budget, leading up to a presentation. On Tuesday, December 5, they visited IKEA to explore small space design and, of course, enjoy a delicious meal.
Thrive with 6th Grade

Our 6th grade recently launched a winter coat and sock drive to benefit Thrive DC, a local nonprofit organization that provides a "safety net for people experiencing housing instability, food insecurity, and economic crisis." Last week, they created eye-catching donation boxes and placed them around the school. Remember to bring donations this evening!
