Bengal Beat: Fall Season - Part 2

Girls Soccer (MS)
They fought long and hard ... and the team notched a 2-1 victory over Berman Hebrew Academy on September 28 and closed out September undefeated (5-0). While the team could not quite hold off Washington International in early October, they shut them out in the 2nd half, ending at 4-2.
Cross Country (MS)
At the PVAC Middle School Midseason Challenge, Neve J. '29 led the field, finishing 6th and running 16:01 for 2 miles. 6th grade was especially well represented, led by Feli M. F. '30 and Brooke F. '30, followed by Nina M. '30 and Stella B. '30. At the third PVAC Middle School meetFlynn G. '29 had an excellent finish in 3rd, as did Neve in 6th.
 
In the boys' division, A.J. A. '28 ran 14:36, finishing an excellent 18th. Exhibiting strong teamwork, new Bengals Sebi P. '30Elijah C. '30, and Arrow N. H. '29 all finished in the top 60, within ten seconds of one another!
 
Cross Country (HS)
This past Tuesday, the Bengals competed in the third PVAC conference meet of the season. In the Men’s 5K, Burke took 2nd as a team, with four runners placing in the top 16. Owen F. '24 led the way, running 19:34 for 8th place, followed by Charles L. '25 in 13th, Isaac W. '27 in 15th, and Jack J. '26 in 16th. In the Women’s 5K, Elsa H. '27 led the Bengals, running 24:06 for 8th place, closely followed by Eliza G. '25 in 11th.
