Bengal Beat: April - Part 2

Varsity Baseball
The Bengals recorded a decisive 6-0 win over Model last week at St. Anselm's, highlighted by an impressive no-hitter by Ray W. '26 and a clutch play by Amir A. '24. Starting the week in similar fashion, the team won 7-0 over McLean School, with Max G. '25 pitching seven shutout innings. (Follow along at the student-run @ebsvarsitybaseball)
 
 
HS Track & Field
With the end of the season approaching, the Bengals finished a strong 3rd and 2nd overall among women's and men's teams respectively at PVAC Meet #3. Top Varsity finishes from the April 20 meet include: Adam O. '23 (10th in the 800), Amanuel A. '24 (3rd in the 300m hurdles), David G. '25 (6th in the 200), Edomias G. '23 and Nathan K. '24 (1st and 3rd in the long jump), Eoin S. '24 (1st in the 1600, with Bengals nabbing six of the top 15 spots!), Ethan O. '26 (8th in the 100), Hana Y. '25 (3rd in the long jump, 2nd in the triple jump), Nora B. '26 (7th in the 1600), Reese G. '23 (5th in the 200, 4th in the 300m hurdles), and Sophia H. '25 (5th in the 100, 2nd in the shot put).

In the Middle School division at PVAC Meet #3strong placements among our 6th and 7th grade athletes include: AJ A. '28 (14th in the 1600), Arsema T. '28 and Naomi R. '29 (8th and 12th in the 200), Flynn G. '29 (5th in the 1600 and 6th in the 800, running sub-3:00), Greyson N. '29 (5th in the shot put), and Yanet G. '28 (6th in the 100).
