Golf Team
Coach Tamika reports, "Owen G. '24 and Jackson M. '28 competed in PVAC Varsity Golf Mid-Season Championship at Northwest Golf Course." They played 9 holes, and Owen scored 44 for a 3rd place finish and Jackson scored an excellent 54. Congratulations to both!

Following a tough loss to Sandy Spring Friends (pictured) this weekend, the team rallied with a decisive win over Washington Waldorf School on Monday!
 
Varsity Softball
Coach Amy reports, "This just in … Burke beat Model, 26-6!" At yesterday’s game, highlights included "nine strikeouts by Sunniah S. '27, a homerun by Lailah B. '25, two triples by Stella T. '24, a double and a double play by Fin T. '23, a hard single and great fielding at center by Emily R. '25, a beat dropped third throw down by Stacia S. M. '28, a hard single and great throw from third by Bea C. '24, plus multiple plate crossings and crafty base running by Pan L. '23, and Ava M. '24." Amy gives a special shout-out to Kyla B. '27 and Roshan M. R. '26, team photographers yesterday.
HS Track & Field
The smallest school represented at the STA & NCS Invitational last weekend, Burke held its own in numerous events. Top finishers included David G. '25 (5th in the 400 – 0.14 seconds from the podium), Sophia H. '25 (7th in the shot put), Eoin S. '24 (11th in the 800), Reese G. '23 (17th in 100), and Madison A. '25 (21st in the 200). Burke's best finish in the relays went to Ashley J. '26, Carrie J. '24, Sophia, and Madison in the 4x100.
 
MS Track & Field
In the squad's first meet of the year, the Bengals started strong, recording top finishes from Wyatt J. '27 (1st in the 100 and 400 meter double!), Yanet G. '28 (8th in the 100), Neve J. '29 (9th in the 800), Flynn G. '29 (2nd in the 3200), and Yanet, Naomi R. '29, Neve, and Arsema T. '28 (2nd in the 4x400 relay).
