Bonding Trips Abound

On September 22-23, 6th-11th graders climbed trees, traversed trails, and explored cities, all while getting closer as a class.
For the first time since Fall 2019, the traditional junior overnight in New York returned, with students visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Central Park, 9/11 Memorial Museum, and Staten Island Ferry, plus various restaurants with advisor groups.

10th grade tackled the Calleva Ropes Course at Madeira and a scavenger hunt in downtown DC, while the 6th-9th grade alternated between Bretton Woods in Germantown (braving less-than-ideal weather on one day!) and on-campus grade programming. The ever-adventurous 8th grade also took on the Billy Goat Trail on Friday.
