February Bengal Beat: Part 2

Updates from our basketball coaches for the month of February.
Coach Ryan L. reports that the Girls Middle School Basketball turned a meager 2-0 lead into a 14-11 victory against Lowell School on February 7. They competed valiantly and worked as a team to survive a late-game comeback from the Lowell team. Coaches and players were proud of the great effort!

Coach Parrish C. applauds the Boys JV Basketball team, which completed a three-game, back-to-back road trip against some tough opponents in the PVAC. "Stand-out student-athletes" included centers Sawyer S. '24 and Dante L. '24, guards Georgie M. '23 and Ramsés C. '25, and forward Amanuel A. '24. Coach Parrish adds that the team managers, Elijah A. D. '23 and Gigi G. '23, have done tremendous work, completing the National Federation of High School Athletic Associations courses on officiating, basketball manager fundamentals, and basketball logistical operations.
