"Yellow" at Dance Loft on 14

On January 27, the Visual & Performing Arts departments partnered with Dance Loft on 14 to present "Yellow" – an art show and music benefit for SMYAL, a DC-based nonprofit serving LGBTQ+ youth.
Sean F. (MS Dean of Community) provided a special reading during the event, followed by a band performance – with bongo drums by Damian J. (Head of School).

The event was curated and organized by Visual Art Department faculty and chair Isabel M. in collaboration with Performing Arts chair John H. and Ceramics & Sculpture teacher Deborah Z. This successful and fun event raised $1600 from the sale of student and faculty artwork created and donated for this show. Thanks to all the students, faculty, staff, and parents who supported this in-person event.
