September Update

Damian R. Jones
We are in our third week of school, and I am excited to share that we are making great progress in the renovation of Mooskin-Roth Hall. At this time, the following spaces have been completed and turned over to the school for use:

  • new, much needed, high school classroom
  • new office for the School Counselor and High School Learning Support
  • new classroom for Ceramics on the 3rd floor, adjacent to other visual arts spaces
  • renovated classroom for digital and wet photograph
We are still on schedule to provide access to the following spaces January 2022:

  • a large community space for student gatherings
  • a servery area for providing lunch onsite
  • a new fitness center
  • new locker rooms
  • an enhanced gym HVAC system
  • improved accessibility to all floors

I remain grateful for the past and present parents, faculty, staff, and alumni who have made this project possible through the Stand with Burke campaign. I also want to thank students, faculty, and staff for their flexibility throughout the periodic disruptions that occur during this renovation. We will continue to do all that we can to ensure smooth school operations.
