Student Spotlights: Lena S. '22 and Gabby B. '23

Two high school students featured in the 39th Annual Congressional Art Competition and 2021 DC Student Film Fest.
Congratulations to Gabby B. '23, one of the student artists who represented the District of Columbia in the 39th Annual Congressional Art Competition, with her piece on panel #1 from Jacob Lawrence's Migration Series – created in 2-D Art 9/10 this past spring. Gabby also received a note of gratitude from Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton.

A standing ovation is due to Lena S. '22, whose short film "Gravestones" will be featured in the DC Student Film Fest – where she will be the only high school student. All other directors are representing colleges and universities.
