Volleyball Pre-Season Details | August 2021

We are very excited about the beginning of the gym renovation project, knowing we soon will have some much-needed (and impressive!) upgrades to the lower floor of the High School. In the meantime, we ask for your flexibility and patience as we create a schedule that facilitates our Volleyball program this fall.
Pre-Season Details:

Volleyball pre-season practices will take place at the Field School from August 16-27 from 9:30- 11:45 AM. Students should meet at Burke and a bus will transport them to and from Field School. Please note that the bus will leave Burke each morning by 9:15 AM and will return to school by 12:00 PM. Students need to arrive at Burke by 9:15 AM.

Despite our traditional rivalry, the Field School has been nice enough to share their space with us! To help manage the extra foot traffic on their campus, we are asking students to use the bus transportation provided and only drop off and pick up at Burke.

Note: masks will be required on the bus regardless of vaccination status.

Regular Season Overview:

We will be updating the rest of the fall schedule in the coming weeks on SIS. 

We will be using Whittle School's gym this fall for our regular season volleyball practices and for some matches as well. Whittle is conveniently located across the street from Burke and will make getting to and from school relatively simple. 

We will have a good portion of morning practice times for Varsity volleyball this fall from 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM. There may also be some Saturday practices for Varsity and JV Volleyball. We realize this may be challenging for some students, and we encourage you to reach out with any questions.
