Staying Together With Music

Midway through the Spring, most Burke students are back in-person for at least a couple days each week – but some students have opted not to return just yet, and we are continuing to perform and create in ways that include everyone.
Music of Burning Strings

As Jonah L. '21 reported to the school on March 17, "Every year, around Saint Patrick's Day, a few Burke bands and some teachers come together to form a group called the Burning Strings [and] we play Irish tunes together."

Featuring: Abby R. '21 (violin), Alice C. '21 (dance), Jonah L. '21 (violin and dance), Nathan W. '21 (drums), with John H. (recorder)

Music of Empty Bowls

In late March, the 9th grade hosted their annual Empty Bowls event – which included performances from this year's 9th & 10th grade band, as well as an "encore" performance from last year's 9th & 10th band.
