This year's community-wide art project, inspired by artist Michelle Lopez, has been installed in the Atrium.
Before the break, students and adults decorated cardboard tubes and rolled-up paper, and these pieces became part of a "larger, tubular ecosystem," writes Isabel M. (Visual Art). Students who were not on-campus still could participate via a contactless tube drop-off spot.
The final work brings together our disparate, often zoomed-out existences, suspended in strong stillness above our heads. As students and teachers return to campus this week, we hope this collaborative effort livens up the Atrium for you.
