Affordability at Burke

Burke's mission directs us to bring together students who are different from one another in many ways. To that end, we strive to be an affordable independent school choice for as many families as possible.
Even before the pandemic took hold, Burke dedicated 15% of our annual budget to Financial Aid. As the spring progressed and conditions worsened, one priority was clear: keeping our community together and whole through acute hardship.

Well on our way to reaching the $6M goal for the Stand with Burke Campaign, we paused all campaign efforts in the spring and redirected our energies to financial aid. From an all-virtual Auction for Financial Aid in April to a matching gift challenge in June, we committed to bolstering our financial aid budget – and not allowing the loss of any student for financial reasons.

For prospective Burke families, our intent-to-apply form for Financial Aid is due on December 15. We look forward to getting to know you!
