Britt is the Director of Enrollment Management at the University of Maryland, College Park where he has also served on many university-wide committees including admission, retention and academic advising. Britt is the parent of Blair ’15.

Joined the Board in 2014 and currently serves as co-chair of the Strategic Planning Implementation Committee and on the Trustee Affairs Committee. She is a co-founder of Avenue4, an Internet asset advisory firm. Previously she served as president of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Primary Day School of the Nation’s Capital. Janine is the parent of Oren ’20 and Orly ’17.

Richard Lane

Treasurer - Richard Lane
Joined the Board in 2015 and serves on the Finance Committee. Rich is founding principal of West, Lane & Schlager Realty Advisors and co-founder and managing principal of the Rock Creek Property Group. He currently serves on the Tulane University School of Liberal Arts Dean’s Advisory Council and is also active on the board of the Hope for Henry Foundation. Rich is the parent of Ella ’17.

Meredith Jason

Joined the Board in 2013 and serves as co-chair of the Development Committee and on the Trustees Affairs Committee. Meredith is Deputy Assistant General Counsel in the Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation Branch of the National Labor Relations Board and the parent of Billy ’18.

Emily Alexander

Emily Alexander
Joined the Board in 2017. Emily has served on the Burke Development Committee for the last three years and has assisted with the annual Burke auction for many years. She has been an instructor of English as a Foreign Language at George Washington University and is active in the child passenger safety field as a nationally certified car seat technician and instructor. Emily is the parent of Nicholas '16.

Susannah Baruch

Susannah Baruch
Joined the Board in 2016. Susannah is a consultant specializing in legal, policy and ethical issues related to women, reproductive health, and genetics. She recently served as interim President & CEO of the Reproductive Health Technologies Project. She has worked for Johns Hopkins University, the National Partnership for Women & Families and United States Representative Nita M. Lowey (D-NY). She is Chair of the Council of Advisors to the Wellesley Centers for Women, a research institute at Wellesley College. Susannah is the parent of Daniel ’18 and Jeremy ’21.

Sydney Bath

Sydney Bath
Joined the Board in 2015. She is co-chair of the Development Committee and serves on the Committee on Trustees’ Affairs. Sydney spent the early part of her career as a securities lawyer for DC firm Hogan & Hartson (Hogan Lovells) before turning her attention to volunteer and board service, including fundraising work for Duke University, the National Cathedral School, and St. Albans. Sydney is the parent of Parker ’18.

Joe Clark

Joe Clark
Joined the Board in 2014. Joe is a Vice President at Hewlett Packard Enterprises leading a global team of attorneys conducting internal investigations. Previously, Joe was a partner at Jones Day where his practice centered on business and tort litigation; and corporate and criminal investigations. A longtime resident of the District of Columbia, he serves as a trustee on the District of Columbia Retirement Board. As an adjunct at the University of Maryland, Joe teaches a course that examines the application of constitutional law principles to African American and other minority communities. He is the parent of Amira '18.

Wendy Cividanes

Wendy Cividanes
Joined the Board in 2016. Wendy is self employed as an educational consultant. She was an officer of the Edmund Burke Parents Association and a member of the Burke strategic planning committee. She was a Lowell School trustee for six years where she served on the executive committee, chaired the diversity committee and was an active member on the Lowell admissions task force. She was also on the board of Amazing Life Games Nursery School in Washington, DC. Wendy is the parent of Isabela ’21.

Jennifer Danish

Jennifer Danish
Joined the Board in 2015 and serves as a co-chair of the Strategic Planning Implementation Committee and on the Finance Committee. Jen is the Head of Grace Episcopal Day School in Kensington, MD. She previously served as Assistant Head of School for Enrollment, Communication and Marketing at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School. Jennifer is the parent of Sophie '18 and Sam ’16.

Sharon Davis

Sharon Davis
Joined the Board in 2016. Sharon is a partner at Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Manbeck, P.C., where she specializes in patent litigation. She previously served on the fundraising committee and as vice president of the Board of Temple Micah, and as an active volunteer over a decade as a parent at Lowell School. Sharon is the parent of JJ ’19.

Norman Dong

Norman Dong
Joined the Board in 2017. He is Managing Director at FD Stonewater, a real estate brokerage, investment, development and asset management firm. From 2014 to 2017, he was Commissioner of the Public Buildings Service at GSA, where he led nationwide asset management, design, construction, leasing, building management, and disposal of almost 374 million square feet of Federal real estate. His professional experience also includes serving as Deputy Controller at the Office of Management and Budget, and City Administrator/Deputy Mayor for Operations in the District of Columbia, and Vice President at ACS State and Local Solutions. Norman is the parent of Eddie '20.

Danielle Feuillan

Danielle Feuillan
Joined the Board in 2014 and is a graduate of the Burke class of 1987. Danielle is a co-chair of the Equity & Inclusion Committee and serves on the Development Committee and the Facilities, Planning and Construction Task Force. She is Communications Coordinator and website manager for Northwest Neighbors Village, a local non-profit organization that serves the needs of older residents through a network of neighborhood volunteers. Danielle is the parent of Ike ’17.

Lucinda Eng Garcia

Lucinda Eng Garcia
Joined the Board in 2016. An Interior Designer by trade, Lucinda worked in NYC, Boston and DC in architectural firms for 20 years. In 2006, she launched Eng Garcia Properties, a top-producing real estate sales team at Keller Williams Realty. As part of its mission, her firm supports entrepreneurial NGOs such as EL Haynes Public Charter School, City Year and Higher Achievement Program. Lucinda is the parent of Gabriel ’18.

Richard Gersten

Joined the Board in 2017. Since 1981, Rick has developed, owned, and/or brokered commercial property throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic area. He is a board member of Freedom Capitol, an investment firm. Rick is the parent of Jonah '20 and Gabriel '21.

Joined the Board in 2015. Suzanne is a Senior Associate Recruitment Coordinator for Hogan Lovells and serves on the Equity & Inclusion and Strategic Planning committees. Suzanne is the parent of Asia ’12 and Alea ’13.

Charlene Drew Jarvis

Charlene Drew Jarvis
Joined the Board in 2015. She serves on the Equity and Inclusion Committee. Charlene started out as a neuroscientist at the National Institute of Mental Health, sat on the DC Council from 1979-2000, serving as the Chair if the Committee on Economic Development, worked as Chair of the Committee on Economic Development in DC and was appointed president of Southeastern University in 1996. She currently serves the Board of Oberlin College, and, among other local government appointments, was on the Transition Committee for Mayor Muriel Bowser. Charlene is the grandparent of Jake ’20.

Sue Keisler

Sue Keisler
Joined the Board in 2015 and chairs the Trustees’ Affairs Committee and serves on the Equity and Inclusion Committee. A graduate of the University of Chicago with both a JD and MBA, Sue has practiced tax law, tutored and advocated on behalf of children and adults with learning disabilities, and has served as a parent volunteer over the years at Burke and other independent schools in a variety of leadership roles. Sue currently serves as Treasurer and Chair of Strategic Planning for the Partnership for Extraordinary Minds, an autism advocacy organization. Sue is the parent of Philip ’18.

Morgan Landy

Morgan Landy
Joined the Board in 2013 and serves on the Finance Committee. Morgan is Director of IFC’s Environment, Social and Governance Team and helps leads the Corporation in fulfilling its strategic commitments to sustainable development. IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector. He is a member of IFC’s Client Solutions Committee and chairs IFC’s Advisory Panel on Business and Sustainability. Morgan is the parent of Brendan ’18.




Brian McMaster

Joined the Board in 2016. Brian is a residential real estate agent with Long and Foster in Bethesda, Maryland.  He has been part owner of a healthcare IT business; an independent consultant in strategic and risk communication; a professional actor; an executive speech writer for TVA Nuclear; a PR representative for a commercial nuclear power plant near Columbia, SC; a construction manager and the Executive Director of a performing arts center in Chattanooga, TN. Brian is the parent of Nat ’17 and Elliott '22.

Sean O'Donnell

Sean O'Donnell
Joined the Board in 2017. Sean has served on the Burke Facilities Planning and Construction Committee for the last two years. He leads Perkins Eastman Architects’ international school design practice. During more than 20 years of practice, he has worked extensively in Washington, DC as well as major cities across the United States, and in Asia, Africa and Latin America. A recognized leader in educational facility planning and design, he founded the AIA|DC Committee on Architecture for Education, has served as a juror for numerous school design competitions, authored numerous articles, presented internationally on innovations in educational facility design, and his projects have won more than 30 design awards. Deeply committed to sustainable school design, he currently serves on the Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of the National Technical Advisory Committee for the Collaborative for High Performance Schools. He is also on the Board of Directors at Perkins Eastman. Sean is the parent of Aidan '19 and Ronan '21.

LaNilta Taylor

LaNilta Taylor
Joined the Board in 2013 and is chair of the Facilities Planning and Construction Committee and serves on the Finance Committee. LaNilta is an architect with the Smithsonian Institution’s Office of Engineering Design and Construction and the parent of Morre ’17 and Mylz ’14.
