InLight: The Election Issue

"InLight is a student-led platform for dialogue that explores cultures, lifts voices, and interrogates injustices. Contributors narrate their own stories, shedding light on their experiences, customs, politics, and the social issues of their communities." – InLight Magazine: About Us
Along with a dozen schools in DC, Burke produces biannual issues of InLight, showcasing student writing and art work. According to co-editors Sigita P. '21 and Kyra L. '21, they'd originally planned to release an election-themed issue months earlier – but with the effects of the 2020 Election continuing to ripple through our environment, this Spring 2021 issue captures reflections from before and well after the polls closed.
