"At a special assembly: Pi day, Grandparents Day, Halloween, etc."

What's a memorable moment from Middle School? 
"My entire 8th grade Alabama trip!" [8th grade annually takes a four-day trip to Alabama in the spring, visiting sites connected to the American Civil Rights Movement]

Is there a challenge that stands out?
"Getting used to such a tight-knit community."

What do you like to do for fun or on the weekend?
"I love going on road trips during our long weekends."

How would you describe Burke to a new student?
"You get a different experience [than] you would receive at most high schools. Everybody here is very kind, and the community is extremely close."
